Interpreting the Report
Faculty receive an email notification once the IDEA reports are ready. Reports can be accessed by logging into with your Net ID and password (the same link used to complete objectives and monitor response rates). Below are resources to help you review the IDEA reports.
Learning Objectives & Teaching Methods
Students rate their observation of a number of Teaching Methods in the IDEA surveys. These Teaching Methods are philosophies of college teaching today. You can the different teaching methods.
When students observe certain Teaching Methods in a course, they also tend to say they made progress on certain Learning Objectives. This relation between the two is different depending on which Learning Objectives are chosen as Important or Essential in a course. Learn how .
