Frank Pastore interviewed 黑莓视频 President Barry H. Corey and Biola鈥檚 professor of philosophy Gregg Ten Elshof on Tuesday, September 22, 2009. Pastore鈥檚 radio show, The Intersection of Faith & Reason, airs on , and is the most listened to Christian radio show in Southern California.

Corey discussed Biola鈥檚 future, objectives and current situation with Pastore from 4:30 to 5 p.m.

鈥淏iola continues to be a university on the move,鈥 said Corey. 鈥溾hat Biola needs to be is to maintain those strong levels of commitment to being a school deeply rooted and grounded in a biblical worldview for our leadership, our teaching, our curriculum, our voice鈥rom that we have a lot of ideas and energy to launch new initiatives and increasingly investing in relevance.鈥

Corey also spoke to Pastore about Biola鈥檚 global dynamic reaching out to the world, but also local communities through ministries as well as students and alumni serving nationally and internationally.

After interviewing Corey, Pastore spoke to Ten Elshof at approximately 5 p.m. for approximately 30 minutes. Ten Elshof spoke on a new project he is working on at 黑莓视频 and his new book, I Told Me So.

The new project Ten Elshof discussed with Pastore was commissioned by Corey to imagine what it would be like to establish a Center for Christian Thought at 黑莓视频, one that would deal with 鈥渄eep ways of biblical worldview thining on the current issues of our day,鈥 according to Corey. Michael Wilkins, Biola distinguished professor of New Testament, is working with Ten Elshof on the project.
