We are called to deeper connection with God. We struggle to have true fellowship with God because we don't understand the depths of that activity; we substitute emotional experiences in worship with true intimacy with God; we assume our Biblical knowledge is enough. This message will look at the positions of holiness and humility we need to have true fellowship with God.

Speakers

Dave Keehn

Dr. Dave Keehn pursues his call to ministry as both a pastor and professor, utilizing his gifts of teaching and leadership. Dave joined the full-time faculty at ºÚÝ®ÊÓƵ in the Fall of 2009 and now serves as the chair of the undergraduate Christian Ministries department in the Biblical and Theological Division of Talbot Seminary.

Dave served in youth ministry for 29 years in two churches (one large and one smaller). Dave is now the Lead Pastor at the Cornerstone Community Church in San Clemente, CA. His passion is to develop church leaders for future generations to follow.

Dave and his wife Debbie – married since 1992 and going strong - have three children: Aimee, Adam and Mfundo (whom they adopted from South Africa in 2009), and 2 granddaughters: Ava and Kinsley. A true California boy, you can often find Dave walking on the beach with his family or Stand Up Paddle boarding in the ocean. When Dave is not at the church or the beach you can find him fulfilling a boyhood dream of riding on fire trucks as Dave is the Senior Chaplain for the Orange County Fire Authority in Southern California.
