It’s time to return to where it all started! We’re excited to invite you to the inaugural Biola Athletics Alumni Day, a special celebration just for you, our outstanding alumni. Mark your calendar and get ready for a day filled with fun, friendship, and great memories! This day is all about celebrating the legacy you have built! Whether you're reconnecting with teammates, celebrating achievements, or spending time with family, we want to create an opportunity for you to reconnect with Biola Athletics.

Check out the events we will be hosting throughout the day. Find your program’s alumni game or check out some of the other exciting events going on across campus.

7–8 a.m. Cross Country and Track & Field Alumni Run
Join Coach Henning and the team for an early morning run on one of the traditional training routes for Biola Cross Country.
Meet at Biola Track Facility
8:30–9:30 a.m. Fun Run Across Campus
Join Senior Director of Athletics, Dr. Bethany Miller, and other coaches, staff and alumni on a run throughout the campus. We will make stops at various locations on campus and the pace will allow for all ages to join.
Meet at Fluor Fountain
8:30–10 a.m. Coffee with the Coaches
For those who would love to sit and connect to reminisce about their time at Biola, this is the time for you. Join some of our coaches for a morning coffee and connection — bring your favorite Biola stories to share over a cup of coffee or tea.
Kim Dining Room
9–10 a.m. Women's Basketball Shootaround and Gathering
Join Coach Simonson and the team for their shootaround before the big game vs APU. After the shootaround, connect with the team and Coach Simonson with coffee and pastries.
Chase Gymnasium
9 a.m.–12 p.m. Men’s and Women’s Water Polo Alumni Games
Join Coach Nordell and Coach Ramirez (Orozco) for a combined alumni event for our water polo programs. We will be hosting a breakfast for families and alumni at 9 a.m., and at 10 a.m. we will jump in the pool for alternating quarters of alumni game action.

Join Coach Henning and the team for a breakfast meet-and-greet with the team and coaches.
Meet at Biola Track Facility
10 a.m.–12 p.m. Wrestling Alumni Gathering
We want to provide a special opportunity for our former wrestling alumni to gather and reconnect on campus. Stop by Kim Dining Room for a time to reconnect and talk about the success of Biola Wrestling.

10 a.m.–12 p.m. Women’s Soccer Alumni Game and Gathering
Join Coach Croft and the rest of the team for a 5v5 tournament with the rest of the Women’s Soccer alumni. Create a team with your former teammates or you can show up and join a team. Snacks and beverages will be provided.
Al Barbour Field
10 a.m.–6 p.m. Men’s Basketball Alumni Gathering
Join Coach Holmquist and the rest of the Biola Hoop Club for a time to connect with the current team and former teammates. Watch the shootaround with the current team as they prepare for APU, and then make your way over to Kim Dining Room for further connection and then dinner at the Biola Cafeteria.
Chase Gymnasium
10 a.m.–12 p.m. Tennis Alumni Game and Gathering
Join Coach Goodman for a doubles mixer and a mini-match against the current group of Biola Tennis student-athletes. There will be prizes for the winners! Be sure to stick around to cheer on the teams later in the day when they compete.

11 a.m.–5 p.m. Baseball Games: Biola v. Northwest Nazarene
Wear RED and enjoy some sunshine as the Eagles take on the Nighthawks at Eagles Diamond. The first pitch will be thrown by a Biola Baseball alumni and at the conclusion of the second game, we invite our baseball alumni and families on the diamond to run the bases and play catch together.
Eagles Diamond
12–2 p.m. Athletics Alumni Cookout & Family Fun
This will be the primary gathering of all of the alumni who are in attendance. Join us for great food and connections and be sure to bring your families. We will have bounce houses, face painting and other family-friendly activities for the duration of the lunch. You will also get a chance to hear from Dr. Bethany Miller and other staff as we welcome you back to campus.
Metzger Lawn
2–4 p.m. Swim & Dive Alumni Gathering
Join Coach Harding and the rest of the Swim & Dive program for a fun competition and connection. Compete against current student-athletes in 5-6 individual events and 3-4 relays. Snacks and drinks will be provided.
Lansing Pool
2–4 p.m. Men’s Soccer Alumni Game and Gathering
Join Coach O’Keefe and his team with a 5v5 tournament for Men’s Soccer alumni. Gather your alumni group and build your own team or show up without a team and you can join one of the teams already formed. Short games, with the winning team getting Biola scarves. Those not playing will be able to connect on the sidelines, with snacks and drinks provided.
Al Barbour Field
2–4 p.m. Men’s & Women’s Golf Alumni Gathering
We want to invite all of our former golf alumni back to campus, both our men and women, for a time to connect and hit some balls. We will have a chipping area available on McNally Field with nets available to try and hit into. While Coach Carr and the team will be in Texas for a competition, we want to provide a space for connection for our Golf alumni.

2–4 p.m. Volleyball Alumni Game and Gathering
Join Coach Failinger and Coach Seltzer for an alumni gathering and alumni game. There will be plenty of time for a long warm-up and some friendly competition with the current group of BU Lades. We will provide snacks and beverages for the group — bring the family for this fun event.
Chase Gymnasium
4–6 p.m. Softball Alumni Gathering
Join Coach Halte and the rest of the softball program as they return from their first games of the year. There will be food and family-friendly competitions for alumni and their families, and this will be a great time to reconnect with former teammates.
Freedom Field
5:30 p.m. Women’s Basketball: Biola v. APU
Join fellow alumni and the Biola community to cheer on the Eagles as they take on the Cougars! We will be honoring our women’s basketball alumni at half-time and will also have half-time surprises you don’t want to miss.

7:30 p.m. Men’s Basketball: Biola v. APU
The fun continues! Join fellow alumni and the Biola community to cheer on the Eagles as they take on the Cougars! We will be honoring our men’s basketball alumni at half-time and will also have half-time surprises you don’t want to miss.

Who is invited to Biola Athletics Alumni Day?

Biola Athletics Alumni Day is open to all former student-athletes, coaches and staff from ºÚÝ®ÊÓƵ Athletics, as well as their families and friends. Whether you graduated recently or decades ago, we would love to have you join us.

Do I need to register to attend?

Yes, to ensure we can provide the best experience for all attendees.

Is there a cost to attend?

Attendance is free for alumni. For additional guests over the age of 5, a $10 registration is required for the alumni cookout. Detailed information will be provided during the registration process.

What activities can I expect during the day?

Biola Athletics Alumni Day will include: Alumni games for former athletes to compete and have fun; family-friendly entertainment, including activities for kids; guided tours of Biola’s athletics facilities and campus improvements; opportunities to network, reconnect and engage with the Biola Athletics community.

Can I participate in the alumni games?

Absolutely! Alumni games are a great way to relive your playing days and have fun with fellow former athletes. Be sure to indicate your interest when you register so we can plan accordingly.

Will food and beverages be provided?

Yes, we will be having a large cookout and carnival on Metzger Lawn from 12–2 p.m. Food and beverage options will also be available throughout the day at the on-campus eateries. Athletics alumni get their lunch for free, while any additional guests will need to pay $10 when they register.

Is this event family-friendly?

Yes, the Biola Athletics Alumni Day is designed to be enjoyable for the whole family, with activities and entertainment for all ages.

What should I wear?

We encourage attendees to wear their Biola gear to show their Eagle pride. If you plan to participate in alumni games or athletic activities, wear comfortable athletic attire.

Can I bring a guest?

Of course! Alumni are welcome to bring family members, friends or even former teammates who may not have received the invitation. Everyone is welcome to join in the celebration.

How can I support Biola Athletics beyond this event?

At the event, attendees will have opportunities to learn about mentoring current student-athletes, making career connections and supporting Biola Athletics through financial contributions. Your involvement helps sustain and grow our programs for future generations.

Where can I park for the event?

Free parking will be available on campus. Specific parking locations and directions will be provided closer to the event date.
